The parking space at Contis Plage is too crowded for us, too narrow and there is no sea view. So this morning it quickly becomes clear - we are not staying here. We didn't really like Lac de Bicarosse yesterday. So we quickly head back. The parking space at the harbor has no electricity and that is probably why it is only sparsely occupied. We like it and finally there is breakfast here.
Shortly after lunch we set off cycling along the Lac de Bicarosse, reaching the Petit Etang de Biscarosse and finally
30 Kilometern stehen wir in Navarrosse am Lac de Cazaux.
So it is logically 60 kilometers until we are back at "our" lake. We enjoy the rest of the afternoon, cook and eat something delicious and are rewarded with a great evening atmosphere.

Sainte Eulalie en Born - we'll just stay here and enjoy a lazy day to the fullest. Probably the last summer day of 2021. We probably won't drive much further south, but will just chug east towards home. If you look at the weather forecast, the sun is still shining a lot, but we probably won't reach today's temperatures. So we enjoyed today's dinner outside twice as much.

Oops, during the night we hear the first raindrops of this trip falling on the roof of our motorhome. But not for long and the wind that picks up at some point is only a gentle breeze when you hear how stormy it is in Switzerland.
Today we're chugging along towards the Mediterranean coast. Our plan is to fill up with LPG again. At the first gas station, someone must have programmed the pump incorrectly - 1.84 euros per liter instead of 0.84 euros! Luckily, we realize this after just a few liters and stop.
At the next gas station it takes a bit of practice to master the machine, but we manage it.
We board the motorway again for a few kilometres, but soon we've had enough and spontaneously head for Bourret on the Goronne. The parking space is spacious and beautifully situated. A walk to the missing bridge is a must. It hasn't disappeared yet, but you're not even allowed to walk across it as a pedestrian. But it looks impressive and interesting.
We can sit outside in the sun, fend off the stink bugs and then enjoy a French raclette in the Pfüdi. The cheese tastes really good, it is really fine and creamy.

We see the Canal de Midi again and again throughout the day. However, we don't see any ships at this time of year.
Today it is once again quite windy here. We walk to our favorite restaurant and enjoy a delicious 3-course meal.
We spend the afternoon sometimes outside, sometimes inside depending on the wind, but it is beautiful.

We stay in Gruissan for another day. The wind dies down so we hop on our e-bikes for a bit, but we spend most of the day lazing around and watching the countless motorhomes that arrive here today (Saturday).

Two nights in Gruissan are enough. We drive along the coast towards the north-east. The pitches we have chosen are full except for one or two. Google has an explanation - the whole of France has been on autumn holidays since yesterday and Germany is still part of it, there are still a lot of people out and about. OK, then Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer, there will probably be something free in the five options. The pitch we have often visited still has quite a few free spaces in the afternoon, of course the best ones are already taken and a German has grabbed one of the best spots and parked across it, taking up 3 spaces!!!! Egoism and arrogance are on the rise!
We don't. For the second pitch, you have to pay at the barrier and only then can you see whether and where there is still space. So, for the very first time, we choose one of the ACSI campsites, both of which are actually still open. They are very large and, despite there being quite a lot of motorhomes, you are almost alone. The extra 6 euros are worth every cent and you also have electricity. Even if you don't really need it, that's not a bad thing.
